Hi.

I’m Tom Johnson, husband, dual citizen, and graphic designer. I’ve been living and working in Shanghai for the past two and a half years, the last of which was spent as a Junior Designer for Thread Design.

As a child I wrote an almost prophetic poem in french class stating the two great places I would go in my lifetime were China and Ottawa. Now that I’ve seen both, I’m in search of a new challenge, and the rest of my old poems.
My aim is to continue to learn and grow as a designer by trying new things, learning from others, and fueling myself and work with inspiration from everywhere. Picasso said it best:
